Sarah Boyce 9e9792228a Fixed CVE-2024-39614 -- Mitigated potential DoS in get_supported_language_variant(). 
Language codes are now parsed with a maximum length limit of 500 chars.

README.rst 

To run the test suite, first, create and activate a virtual environment. Then
install some requirements and run the tests::

    $ cd tests
    $ python -m pip install -e ..
    $ python -m pip install -r requirements/py3.txt
    $ ./runtests.py
