The test acts a regression test for 715ccfde24f9f2b7f6710429370a1eff3c78fc2a
if the feature is True, but it works on other backends too.

To run the test suite, first, create and activate a virtual environment. Then
install some requirements and run the tests::

    $ cd tests
    $ python -m pip install -e ..
    $ python -m pip install -r requirements/py3.txt
    $ ./runtests.py
